Vidal Sassoon - The Movie !!!

Yep, its a crazy concept i kow, but it seems Mark Eitzel has contributed music to the upcoming film about Vidal Sassoon.
This first-time, deeply intimate look into the life of vidal sassoon, from his early days in an orphanage, to his time as a soldier, his beginnings on bond street, and ultimately, the revolution he caused, which continues to this day. Vidal sassoon the movie was filmed over the course of 3 years and features unprecedented access to vidal, candid interviews with former staff, family members, reporters and historians. Together they explore the life and legacy of the most influential hairdresser in the world, whose influence far outreaches the industry he changed forever.
A quote from Mark somewhere says
"It was an absolute honor to work on this amazing film about one of the great icons of the 60's" said American Music Club's Mark Eitzel. "The experience of recording this music was one of the best things to happen to me this year. David Spelman brought together the best musicians in New York to fill in my arrangement for George Gershwin's ''S Wonderful' and the result is amazing."
So there you have it.

New AMC Side Project

While they are waiting for Mark to write the next American Music Club album, the rest of the band have been keeping themselves busy. Former American Music Club member Sean Hoffman has a new band called Loch and Key.
"(Along with visual artist Leyla Akdogan) they just finished their record called "Jupiter's Guide For Submariners". Vudi plays guitar on "In the Town of the Queen of the Angels", "Maybe", and "Helixes". Steve plays drums on "Apis Mellifera", "Moon Angel", and "Helixes"."
It sounds a bit like The Bird and The Bee with a jazzy vibe and breathy female vocals.
